You say it’s as simple as the principle of complementarity, but the principle of complementarity is itself a bizarre concept that breaks with our common sense understanding of the world. This article, in a certain sense, is an explanation of the physical mechanism by which the principle of complementarity may arise. You’re basically content with saying “wave-particle duality has a simple explanation: wave-particle duality.” I don’t find that circular definition very insightful or satisfying.
